Not all days can be sunshine. 2 out of 3 of the kids had toothaches. All 3 had a bit of cabin fever. Thankfully the rain parted and we had a chance to go to the duck pond before nap time. ITs a good reminder that unless it is dangerously cold we will go out for a few minutes each day.
Here are a couple pictures from our dance party that we threw for our favorite characters. We also fed the birds, went for a walk, had free play and did a lot of little art projects. We also did some singing and storytelling.
Here are the highs and lows.
Lilah-
High- running around the park with Myles. Despite some tripped up feet, she was determined to keep playing with Myles who had asked her, "Please Lilah come and play." Also, what great talking today.
Low- The teeth and having to stay off other folks' art projects.
Willa-
High- making up the most wonderful songs today for the duck, Minny Mouse, and herself. What a sweet voice and sweet thoughts.
Low- The teeth and having to take a nap
Myles-
High- having a blast at the park, bringing leaves to his girls and asking them to get out of the stroller to play. Myles was a real talker today too!
Low- struggle sharing the trains this morning.
Allyson
High- watching a strained morning relax into a much better late morning/ noon
Low- finding herslef standing in a pile of bird seed, spilled glitter and all while having a a box of chocolates fall on her head which prompted all 3 kids to stop playing, cry and beg for candy. It was a moment. But it was fixed with a vacuum and 10 minutes of a sesame dances video. And yes, I gave them a piece of candy. We practiced our trick or treating.
