kites and hikes

Today was a lovely day. We started out playing in the backyard, then we headed to the open space to look for signs of autumn. We returned home to have a popsicle and then left for the park to fly a kite. Then we came home to play inside in the playroom. Afterward we ate a dignified lunch of pasta, veggies, watermelon,and crackers. Then we read books and fell asleep. What a fabulous day for one and all.




Normally Lilah loves to use her fork but today that tool was too slow!

Lilah, Willa, and Grandma play felt dolls.

Willa liked the stroller for the most part today, but got out to join her friends and to gather a few things in her bug catcher.




Willa enjoyed playing in the sand, watching from the sidelines, and having quiet play with her friend baby bear.
